Karan Johar is known for launching star kids but he was never slammed much for it until actress Kangana Ranaut called him the ‘flag-bearer of nepotism’ and she chose Karan Johar’s talk show for making this statement when she appeared on Koffee With Karan with his “Rangoon” co-star Saif Ali Khan.

Since then, they both have not left any chance of taking a jibe at each other and recently KJo did it once again when he attended YouTube FanFest Mumbai 2019. He appeared on the chat show Titu Talks with comedian and YouTube personality Bhuvan Bam.

Here’s what Bhuvan asked KJo,

“Optimism ka matlab hota hai positive sochna, pessimism ka matlab hota hai negative sochna aur nepotism ka matlab hota hai apno ke baare me sochna. Aapko is shabd se kyon pyaar hai?” (Optimism means positive thinking, pessimism means negative thinking and nepotism means thinking about your loved ones. Why do you love this word so much?)

Karan Johar’s reply was targeted at the “Manikarnika” actress but he made sure that he didn’t take her name.

This is what he replied,

“Mujhe ye subject pyara nahi hai, kisi aur ko ye subject bohat pyara hai aur kya bolu main, hum bolega toh bologe ki bolta hai, toh bolne ka kam maine unko saunp dia hai, kaam karne ka maine le liya hai.” (I don’t love this subject, someone else really loves this subject and what else should I say? I have assigned the task of talking to that someone and I do my job.)

Karan Johar must be quite happy as his “Kesari” starring Akshay Kumar has performed great at the box-office while Kangana is also cloud nine after the success of her movie “Manikarnika”. However recently she has been slamming many Bollywood celebs on various matters. What’s more, she also said that if “Manikarnika” doesn’t get a Filmfare award, it will be a question on their credibility.

With the lok Sabha elections 2019,about to start from April 11, we are presented with an official manifesto by our ruling party BJP’s strong political opposition, Congress.The election is almost knocking at every Indian citizen’s doorstep, with an honest promise of fulfilling every individual’s right to choose their own government representative and in turn also showing a possibility of power shift.

On Tuesday, Congress released their fifty five page political manifesto for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The official release was announced in the presence of big leaders of the party. On stage we saw former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress President Rahul Gandhi, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and other senior party heads as well.

According to reports, this manifesto is a successful outcome after fifty three closed door discussion and consultations. Even one hundred and twenty one public consultations were held before that, taking in, public’s hope and aspirations. The manifesto committee was headed by former Finance Minister P Chidambaram.

Speaking during the occasion, Rahul Gandhi stated that their proposed ‘Nyay’ scheme will bring in new economical developments, which were ‘jammed’ by BJP’s infamous demonetization move. He even gave the slogan, ‘Garibi pe Waar, 72000’. His key focus are on these significant areas-

1.Kaam:Employment
2.Daam:Economy
3.Shaan:Pride
4.Sushashan:Good Governance
5.Swabhimaan:Self Esteem
6.Samman:Self Respect And Dignity

The 2019 Congress Manifesto has few highlights, describing a promising future guided by good governance, implementation of anti corruption laws and employment facilities. Rahul Gandhi made GST modification and farmer’s distress, his key focused area too.

1.NYAY
According to their 2019 manifesto, they will introduce a new scheme, called Nyuntam Aay Yojana(NYAY). Under this government sanctioned program, every year seventy two thousand will be given to the twenty percent of poorest households in India. And most significantly the woman will be receiving that amount every year.

2.Jobs
They promised to fill four lakh vacancies in the Central Government sector, including Judiciary and Parliament by March 2020. Even they will ask every State governments to fill up their estimated twenty lakh vacanies in the local bodies too.

3.Farmer’s Welfare
They stated that they will modify BJP’s failed Fasal Bima Yojana and will also introduce a new scheme by the name ‘Kisan Budget’. They will also restore the former original Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act of 2013 by bringing in a National Commission on Agriculture and Planning.

4.Education
Congress promised that they will double the annual allocation for education to six percent of GDP.

5.GST
Congress said they will share a portion of GST with the municipalities and the panchayats. They will also simplify the whole GST regime by moderating tax rates and exempting essential goods and services.

6.AFSPA
Congress even promised to review and modify the controversial AFSPA, with respect to the growing military and political tensions. They stated that they will look into the unprecedented power structure in the disturbed zones, with respect to the security forces.

7.Reservation
Congress promised a thirty three percent of seats, in the State Legislative Assemblies and even in the Lok Sabha , just for women. They will reserve seats for women in Central Government jobs too.

8.Aadhaar
Congress promises to look after the bridge in commitment with respect to the original purpose of the Aadhar Act. They will instead restrict the use of Aadhar by passing a law on privacy.

9.Anti Corruption
Congress said rather promised through their manifesto that they will create and enforce laws with respect to anti corruption.They will immediately come into force without any discrimination and will in turn investigate BJP’s several deals over the past five years.

10.Public Infrastructure and Urban Policy
Congress promised to upgrade and in turn modernize every public infrastructure including the railways. They stressed on Right to Housing and Urbanization too. They will introduce a new form of governance by a directly elected mayor with a tenure of five years.

So, keeping up with Chidambaram’s choice of words ‘how to marry wealth and welfare’, we wish for a better tomorrow.

Ajay Devgn is one of the most bankable actors for the producers as his movies have been performing pretty well. His last release “Total Dhamaal” was a blockbuster and once again, he will be seen in a romantic comedy which is titled as “De De Pyaar De”. The movie will be releasing on May 17 and its trailer was released yesterday.

The trailer was liked by audiences but many were miffed after watching Alok Nath in the movie. Unless you have been living under the rock, you must be knowing that Alok Nath has been accused by Vinta Nanda of s*xually exploiting her and a case has also been registered against him. After Alok Nath got accused under #MeToo movement, the people from the film industry have stopped working with him in order to show their support to women rights and justice.

At the trailer launch, Ajay, Tabu and Rakul Preet were asked some questions by the media persons and one of the questions was related to the casting of Alok Nath in “De De Pyaar De” despite the fact that he was accused of #MeToo.

When this question was asked, Ajay tried to avoid it by saying,

“This is not the right place to talk about it. Aur jinki aap baat kar rahi hain woh film usse bahot pehle complete ho chuki thi.” (The film was completed before the allegations surfaced against the concerned person).

The Khiladi of Bollywood, is currently on a roll after his film ‘Kesari’ became a blockbuster by crossing the 150 crore mark at the box office. The film also starred Parineeti Chopra and was extremely well received by the audience. It represented the historical period drama genre, which narrated the untold story of the Battle of Saragarhi, where 21 Sikh soldiers fought against 1000 Afghan invaders.

Now, according to reports, Kiara Advani is all set to play the female lead in the Hindi remake of Tamil film Kanchana aka Muni, opposite none other than Akshay Kumar. The film will be titled as ‘Lakshmi’, as the Hindi remake, and if finalized, Kiara Advani will soon join the team.

According to sources, Kiara has almost been confirmed to play the female lead, though official formalities are still left to be done. As it turns out, both Akshay and Kiara is busy shooting their first film together, Good News, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh.

Kiara Advani made her Bollywood debut with Fugly (2014) and was then seen in M.S.Dhoni:The Untold Story, where she played the role of Sakshi Singh Dhoni and was widely appreciated. The remake of Kanchana is under process and will soon go on floors.

Even actor R Madhavan will be approached to be a part of this movie as well. The original Tamil film was directed by Raghava Lawrence but the makers are still yet to confirm the director for the Hindi remake of the same. This will also mark the return of Akshay Kumar in the horror comedy genre; his last was Bhool Bhulaiyaa in 2007.

Bollywood sequels are often not very well received, maybe because people are still under the hangover of the first and so when the second releases, we often tend to ignore it by saying it lacks that vigor and originality.

Now as we all know Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Kick (2014), will get a sequel of its own, very soon. Jacqueline who made her debut with Aladdin in 2009, became very well recognized after this film, which gave her fame as she played Salman’s love interest.

In an recent interview, when she was asked how she is dealing with the pressure to perform perfectly in the sequel of Kick, she promptly replied that sequels are never easy. They are tough as there is a constant pressure to do well, even more than the first film. The expectation bar is always high as you have huge responsibilities too.

She confirmed that the sequel of Kick is being scripted and for her, moving into it is not very easy. She recalls her performances from Race, Housefull and even Judwaa 2, which all were sequels and she faced great pressure and difficulty while performing.

She also added that Sajid Nadiadwala wants to ‘make kick 2 more bigger and better’. And so he is prepping hard for this film. We will see the actress next in ‘Drive’ along with Sushant Singh Rajput which will release in June and if rumours are to be believed Jacqueline will be also seen in the sequel of ‘Chashme Baddoor’.
