Ali Zafar Gets Slammed Online For Supporting Imran Khan’s Speech After Pulwama Incident

After the Pulwama incident on 14th February, a lot of celebs flooded social media with their personal opinions on what they felt should be the next course of action.

While the tragedy wreaked havoc in our country, Pakistan remained silent. The Pakistani government failed to issue an official statement even after the militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed claimed responsibility.

Yesterday, the Pakistan PM Imran Khan issued an official statement where he said that India was wrongfully accusing Pakistan without any evidence that could incriminate them.

He also warned India that if Indian government launched an attack on Pakistan, they too would retaliate. This statement created quite an uproar, and actor-singer Ali Zafar decided to break his silence on it.

He praised the PM’s speech and supported it. He said “Listen with an open heart and mind devoid of ego, bias or hatred. If can’t, listen again after a few days in a moment of peace.”

Of course, this angered a lot of people who thought that Ali Zafar should be the last person to comment on such things. Some felt that having worked in India as an actor and a musician, he should have been more sensitive while making the comment.

Young Pakistanis Start A Social Media Campaign To Raise Their Voice After The Pulwama Incident

After the Pulwama incident, what was most shocking was the fact that the Pakistani government refused to take any responsibility for the attack.

The militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed is suspected to have been backed by the Pakistan army. Despite this revelation, Pakistan PM Imran Khan issued a public statement stating that India had no solid evidence against Pakistan.

Following the Pulwama tragedy, Indians have practically declared war on Pakistan and the hatred between the two nations seems to have reached its saturation point.

During such volatile times, a few young Pakistanis decided to do the noble thing and started a social media campaign to condemn the terrorists behind the Pulwama incident.

Sehyr Mirza, an Indo-Pak activist and a journalist posted a picture of herself holding a placard which said “I am a Pakistani and I condemn Pulwama terrorist attack. #AntiHateChallenge #NoToWar”

Her caption also subtly hinted that she will not blindly follow her government’s strategies in the name of patriotism because humanity comes first.

She says that when soldiers are martyred, it does not matter if they belong to Pakistan or India. Human lives have been lost, and it is time for someone to own up and take responsibility.

The campaign was featured on a Facebook page, with several people holding similar placards. It has since then gone viral.

Kudos to these young women for standing up for what is right. The need of the hour is not to engage in dirty politics, but to engage in a meaningful dialogue which can help find a suitable solution to the immediate issue in hand.

Punjab CM Gives Strong Reply To Imran Khan. Says Catch JeM Chief From Bahawalpur Or We Will

Pakistan PM Imran Khan spoke up regarding the Pulwama incident on Tuesday and dismissed all the allegations made by India. While Imran Khan said that India must show the evidences to support their allegations, he also said that the Pakistan government is ready to provide full support. He also said that Pakistan has been severely affected by the terr*rism and they are ready to join hands with India against it.

However, he also threatened India by saying that if the country attacks Pak they’ll have to retaliate.

Soon after Imran’s statement, Punjab CM Amarinder Singh gave it back to him by saying that Jaish-E-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar is in Bahawalpur and they must catch him or Indian forces will do it. Amarinder Singh wrote:

Dear @ImranKhanPTI you have Jaish chief Masood Azhar sitting in Bahawalpur & masterminding the attacks with ISI help. Go pick him up from there. If you can’t let us know, we’ll do it for you. BTW what has been done about the proofs of Mumbai’s 26/11 attack. Time to walk the talk.

Now that’s quite a strong answer. We hope Pakistan will really help Indian government this time.

Indian Diplomats Refused To Shake Hands With Pakistani Officials, Netizens Are Proud Of Them

In the aftermath of the Pulwama incident, Indian diplomat MEA joint secretary Deepak Mittal snubbed a senior Pakistani official at the International Court of Justice be refusing to shake his hand.

At the hearing of the Kulbhushan Jadhav case at the ICJ in Hague, the Indian diplomats preferred to greet the Pakistani officials with a Namaste but refused to shake their hands.

Pakistan’s Attorney General Anwar Mansoor Khan held his hand out to Deepak Mittal in an attempt to shake hands, but Mittal politely refused and greeted him with folded hands instead.

Mansoor Khan then proceeded to the Indian ambassador to the Netherlands Venu Rajamony and tried to shake hands with him as well. However, the latter followed Mittal’s example.

Yes you read that right.A Twitter user, Bhargav Rajan ordered food on Swiggy from a neighborhood restaurant but he was taken aback when he saw the delivery map. It showed that the delivery boy is coming from Rajasthan to deliver him the food to Chennai.

To this Swiggy has the wittiest of reply and readily commented that they will surely look into this matter.
