Jadavpur Professor Says A Virgin Girl Is Like A Sealed Bottle, Gets Badly Slammed On Social Media

Virginity of girls has always been a topic of discussion in the Indian society and some Indian men never shy away from demanding a virgin girl while getting married. However in the modern times, a welcome change has come in the mindset of Indian men and they have started to understand that women are much more about love, respect, values and companionship and virginity doesn’t hold importance for most of them.

But still there are several men who associate a girl’s virginity with her character and feel that a man has the right to get a virgin wife.

One such person is Kanak Chandra Sarkar who is a professor in the Jadavpur University, Department of IR and he is known for using social media to express his opinion on topics related to girl’s virginity. In his recent post, he talked about the “Virgin Brides” which he claimed to be a part of his teaching on “value oriented social counseling for educated youth”.

He compared a virgin girl with a sealed packet or sealed bottle and asked guys whether they will buy a bottle of cold drink or packet of biscuit that has a broken seal and if not, how they can marry a non-virgin girl. However, he later deleted his post.

Here’s what his post read:

“Virgin Bride – Why Not?

(Value Oriented Social counseling for Educated Youth)

Many boys remain fool. They are not aware of virgin girl as wife. Virgin girl is like Sealed Bottle or sealed packet. Are you willing to buy broken seal while purchasing a Bottle of Cold drinks or a packet of biscuit?

It is the same case with your wife. A girl is biologically sealed from birth until it is opened. A virgin girl means many things accompanied as values, culture, s*xual hygiene. To most boys virgin wife is like angel.”

He was slammed heavily by social media users including his students and colleagues; however, he didn’t apologise for his remarks and said that as per the law, he did not do anything wrong as he just used his right of freedom of expression.

Earlier also, he has made such s*xist posts and in one of his posts, he said that a girl should be proud if she is virgin before marriage. He went on to say that she should express it to her husband and she will definitely be honored by her partner.

Many online users including professors of other universities have demanded an action against him and as per a Facebook post, he has been accused of s*xual harassment as well but nothing has been confirmed about it till now.

Sreesanth Spoke Up On Hardik Pandya Controversy & You Might Agree With Him

The two young Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul must have been cursing themselves for their decision of attending Karan Johar’s talk show “Koffee With Karan” as it has proved to be disastrous for them. Things would have been better if they had known how to control their tongue but now the situation is really miserable.

They both have been slammed heavily for using inappropriate words for women in the talk show and now Sreesanth, the Indian cricketer and first runner-up of the popular reality show Bigg Boss 12, has also opened up on this matter.

As per Sreesanth, there is no doubt that whatever they did was wrong but he also emphasised on the need of having them back in the team as the World Cup tournament is near and they both are match winners. He hopes that BCCI allows them to play soon and is sure that they both will be back on the field, sooner or later. Giving an example of himself, Sreesanth said that he knows how difficult it is for a cricketer to miss a game and hopefully the young cricketers will be playing again.

Sreesanth also said that there are many cricketers who have committed even bigger mistakes but they have gotten away without being punished and they are also not missing the opportunity of slamming the young cricketers. The Indian pacer is hoping that the ban imposed on him is lifted soon, whether this month or the next month, and then he will try his luck in the first class matches before fighting for a place in the national team.

However at the same time, he also made it clear that if at any point of time, he feels that he is not up to the mark, he will walk away happily as there are many youngsters willing to play for the country not just from his state Kerala but from all across the nation. He won’t be sticking around just because he is Sreesanth and the ban has been removed.

Sreesanth is also active in politics as he is a member of BJP and talking about his political career, he says that he will be using his popularity for the benefit of his party as it is also like a family to him.

After Bigg Boss 12, Sreesanth is seen in another TV reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 9.

Uri Director Shares Interesting Facts About Making The Film, You Cannot Miss The Details For Sure

Uri: The Surgical Strike is being called the first superhit film of the year, and we are completely in awe of Vicky Kaushal in the film.

However, director Aditya Dhar has revealed that he was not too sure while casting Vicky as a sole hero, because he considered it a risk.

He said that dedicating two years of his life to Uri has been exhausting but worth it. The film has taught him a lot, especially about the hardships that soldiers have to go through.

He also shared in his interview, that most of the shots were done in Serbia. He and his team had ensured that every shot was done in one take, irrespective of the difficulties faced.

For instance, he shared another interesting fact. The actor who played Dhairya was not actually a Sikh. He had to live in a gurudwara and practice for two weeks before he could shoot.

The main agenda behind making the film was to show that the surgical strike was necessary. He wanted to show the anger and the frustration of the soldiers.

He wanted to show the hardships that the soldiers have to face, especially taking into consideration the friendship and bonds that they form while fighting on enemy lands.

For our Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and actor Ranveer Singh, 2018 was great. They walked into the year with their magnum opus Padmaavat, by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and ended by tying the knot with each other in Italy’s beautiful Lake Como.

Even Ranveer’s Simmba did astoundingly with 200 crore to the film’s name. Since Deepika was busy planning her wedding she took time to sign a new project. And then after her wedding, at the end of 2018, she did, Chhapaak.

Recently, in an interview she was asked about how or when they are planning to change their surname for each other, since they are married now. As, it was heard that Ranveer Singh will also change his surname for his ladylove.

But it turns out that it is not true after all. Deepika said that, after another interview where she was asked this same question, she realized that how she and Ranveer never had that conversation about changing surnames.

According to Deepika, both of them worked very hard, to make their individual selves as they are today. They struggled to create their own identity and so at the very bottom of their heart they are very much like each other.

So, with loads to do and loads to achieve, Deepika also added that with every character she is doing, she is growing a bit. She is realizing those struggles and experiencing them to learn and to grow.

But an Australian journalist by the name of Dennis Freedman reportedly has a grudge against Virat, and is ready to go to any length to mock him.

In light of this controversy, Freedman has shared an old video of Virat Kohli where he is seen speaking to a female reporter. He tells the reporter that he once rejected a girl because she was ugly. The date did not last even 5 minutes because the girl he was with was not attractive.

While there is not much wrong with the statement, by the candor that Virat shows in the statement, we’re guessing this is from when he was in the Under 19 team.
