This weekend, we are seeing the release of two much awaited films – The Accidental Prime Minister and Uri. The Accidental Prime Minister created a lot of controversy even before its release, and we couldn’t wait to see Anupam Kher in this avatar.

From the very beginning, you must keep in mind that the film is based on a book, and offers an in depth insight into the life of Manmohan Singh, during his tenure as the PM.

It’s very clear from the onset of the film that propaganda is the main agenda of the film – to portray Manmohan Singh as a mere puppet in the hands of one of the most powerful families in the country.

In fact, the former PM is showcased as a weak and dare we say, spineless man, who was entirely manipulated and controlled by Sonia Gandhi and clan.

Anupam Kher must be applauded for his efforts to portray Manmohan Singh. However, The Accidental Prime Minister is a film that grossly lacks clarity or even a sense of a proper agenda. That is enough to belittle even a man of Kher’s calibre.

Twitterati, however, are divided on their opinion. While some are calling it propaganda films, some are saying that Anupam Kher is disgraceful in the film. On the other hand, some are saying that the film highlights the truth of his tenure.

2019 already began big. We can say that, because today we saw the release of one of the most anticipated film of the year, Uri. Now, after the trailer release we were all eager to witness one of the most important decision taken by our government rather than a film.

Directed by Aditya Dhar and starring prominent faces like, Vicky Kaushal, Rajit Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Mohit Raina and Yami Gautam , this film will definitely make a mark on your conscience for obvious reasons.

This film is not dictating patriotism, but rather fulfilling it. Vicky Kaushal is a very convincing Major Vihaan Singh Shergill, who will support his character as well as the film solely and truly. He returns to avenge those nineteen soldiers, who lost their life because Pakistan based evil militants were too coward to have a face off with our Indian soldiers.

In this film, there is valor in everyone’s action, including Paresh Rawal as Ajit Doval and Rajit Kapur as our Indian Prime Minister. Since this film is on India’s surgical strike, an operation led by our brave hearts, a film on an unsung war, every significant details have been thoroughly watched.

Virat Kohli Breaks His Silence On KL Rahul – Hardik Pandya, Admits His Teammates Were Wrong

The KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya controversy has taken the nation by storm, with Hardik Pandya drawing a lot of criticism for the kind of misogynistic comments he had made.

From racists statements to saying that he liked to watch women move, from objectification of women to boasting about his exploits, Hardik Pandya was unbearable in the episode.

After he drew a lot of flak for the episode, he apologized on Twitter saying that he got carried away with the nature of the show.

But even that was not enough as the BCCI sent a show cause notice to the two players and even considered banning them from the next two ODIs.

Now, their captain Virat Kohli has broken his silence on the episode and the statements. He has said that his teammates were wrong and that they have understood their mistake.

He stated that these views were not universal. Instead, they were individual views of Hardik and KL, and that not everyone on the team shared the same viewpoints.

He has also said that he does not support such views and that no one else on the team supports these statements either.

Hopefully, Hardik can follow Virat’s example in the future.
