As we have entered in 2019, a lot of things are left behind. One thing that has entered in the new year along with us is some of our favourite television shows. Like every year even in 2019 many TV shows entertained the audience and it’s time to recall the most popular ones.
In this article, we’ll discuss Top 10 Television shows of 2018 according to the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC).
If there was one thing that was more popular than anything else in 2018, it was PUBG. Overnight, this game became an internet sensation.
PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds, or PUBG as the game is commonly known, is one of the most addictive games that online gamers have come across.
Naturally, this has taken the internet by storm and almost every single youngster in the country is obsessed with the game. But it can get annoying at times.
This YouTuber has come up with an honest video which expressed everything we feel about PUBG players. You can check out his channel by clicking on this link.
He says that the players become so engrossed in their games that they begin to lose sense of reality. It is almost as if they’re actually living in an illusion of their own.
He also says that the main reason why the game’s so addictive is because it provides an outlet for frustration and the stress of their daily lives.
The video is hilarious, and honest. And most importantly, it has an important message. Check it out:
The sessions at the Parliament are very similar to what you would see in a kindergarten classroom. Children throwing things at each other, making paper planes, creating a ruckus.
Sounds familiar?
Something similar happened during Arun Jaitley’s speech on the Rafale deal at the Parliament. There was an open debate on the Rafale fighter jet deal in the Parliament.
Rahul Gandhi started the debate on Twitter the day before when he said he had three questions for Modi. He blasted the BJP government and also Modi in his speech.
When the finance minister Arun Jaitley got up to counter the debate, Congress MP Sushmita Dev and other members of the Congress began throwing paper planes at him.
Check out the video here:

It seems like Indian fans are not too willing to let go of the offensive babysitter comment that Tim Paine had passed on Rishabh Pant during the India vs Australia match.
Rishabh Pant had later called Tim Paine a temporary captain and the sledging had continued. However, later a new series of controversies started when Tim’s wife Bonnie called Rishabh Pant the best babysitter.
But apparently this was all in good humour, as Rishabh Pant himself admitted. He even met with Tim’s family and clicked photos with them.
But Indian fans are not too forgiving when it comes to such remarks. Yesterday, The Bharat Army, a global Indian cricket supporters group had come up with a chant which immediately went viral.
It took a jibe at the babysitter comment and supported Rishabh Pant. Today, they have taken the sledging one step further and have come up with a new poster.
Manu Bhaker is a household name now, when the 16 year old Indian shooter became the first to have brought home gold in the Youth Olympics 2018.
In October of 2018, Anil Vij, the Haryana Sports Minister had promised that the Youth Olympic winners would be receiving cash prize of 2 crores.
This is what the Minister had written then, “Congratulations to Manu Bhaker for winning shooting gold in Youth Olympics. Haryana government will give a cash prize of Rs 2 crore to Manu Bhaker on her achievement. Previous governments used to pay Rs 10 lakh.”
However, the money has clearly not reached the winners’ hands because Manu Bhaker tweeted:
She has one direct question for the Haryana government – if the promise was a false one or not.
She later added:
I was too young to understand this at that time .. But Today i understand what he wants to prove…. Some people want to prove thamself right even they know they are not… Bad luck ofHaryana . https://t.co/4EsUbDul4B
She wrote that such an incident is really disheartening and discouraging as far as players are concerned. This is truly shameful for the Haryana government.
After The Accidental Prime Minister, which is based on Dr. Manmohan Singh, we have a new biopic to look forward to in the year 2019. And this one’s based on Narendra Modi.
It has been confirmed that Vivek Oberoi will be playing the role of Narendra Modi in the biopic. The first poster for the film is to be released on 7th January, 2019.
Apparently, the film will be chronicling Modi’s journey from a tea seller to the Prime Minister of India.
Both #Modi and #VivekOberoi have one thing in common.
They both know what a press conference can do to their careers, so they avoid it these days! #perfectfit#ModiBiopic
It's not going to be an easy task for VivekOberoi to play Modi on screen. He'll have to undergo multiple skill-based trainings like spewing venom, jumlebaazi, kattarpanti, orchestratng riots, fake encountrs, dividing Indians, using soldier card etc to get into the skin of the character
