Kader Khan’s Son Slams Govinda. Asks Did He Even Call Us Once?

Legendary actor and writer Kader Khan’s demise came as extremely sad news for all the fans. People from nation and industry expressed their grief regarding the loss of an artist par excellence.

Govinda who did numerous films with Kader Khan took to social media and shared his sentiments. In his tweet, Govinda said that Kader Khan was not just his Ustaad but also a father figure. His tweet read as-

RIP Kader Khan Saab.
He was not just my “ustaad” but a father figure to me, his midas touch and his aura made every actor he worked with a superstar. The entire film industry and my family deeply mourns this loss and we cannot express the sorrow in words.#ripkaderkhansaab🙏🏻

However, Kader Khan’s son Sarfaraz is not much amused by Govinda’s tweet and has a question to ask him. He said that Govinda must be asked how many times he inquired about his father figure’s health and has he even bothered to call them once after his demise? This is the way our film industry has become.

Now that’s quite a strong statement. We wonder what Govinda has to say on this.

Kangana Ranaut Responds To Rani Mukerji’s Controversial Comments On #MeToo. This Is What She Said

Gender equality or women empowerment has become a huge debate these days and it’s only because of this debate, #MeToo movement picked steam in India. Most of the people often discussing #MeToo on social media have common intention but different and polarised opinions.

Recently during the Actresses roundtable when Rani Mukerji gave her opinion regarding the #MeToo movement, it sparked a huge controversy. She said that women need to be powerful within and must have the courage to say back off when they feel like saying so. Rani also said that women need to take their own responsibility and should fight against the odds on their own.

This statement of Rani didn’t go well with the netizens and they trolled her badly.

Kangana who has always been in the support of #MeToo movement was asked about her opinion on Rani’s comment. Replying to her comment she said that women should be empowered and we must not discourage strong women. She made her point clear by saying if women in the society need support, they must be helped but if society is producing strong women like Rani Laxmibai than there’s nothing wrong in it.

Giving her own example she said that she was 16 when she filed an FIR against the se*ual harassment she faced.

Well, we do agree with what Kangana said here. What’s your take?

#BasBhiKaro – The Youngsters Of Mumbai Want You To Stop Asking ‘Shaadi Kab Karoge?’

Sharma Ji Ka Beta is now a social media joke, but think about the implications for the same. All our lives, our relatives and pados wale uncles and aunties have tried to influence our decisions.

As you grow up, you’re constantly plagued by questions about marriage, about future plans and careers. Gender stereotypes, unsolicited advice, muft ka gyaan – we didn’t ask for your help! But we’re tired of your judging eyes, and your snide remarks.

Enough is enough. #BasBhiKaro

It’s time to give them a taste of their own medicine. The #BasBhiKaro campaign which has been powered by QuackQuack, empowers the youth of today with a voice they have often been denied.

They went around asking the youth of Mumbai about the various nagging questions they have to deal with, and the answers will take you by surprise.

This is something most of us have to deal with on a regular basis, and it can get on your nerves. Check out what Mumbaikers had to say:

People need to realize that not everyone has everything figured out by the time they’re 25:

Because apparently age and looks are the only things that matter:

Should that not be the decision of the couple?

This is a subtle way of saying, “You’re getting old, it’s time you get married.”

As they say in India, no one cares unless you’re a doctor or an engineer:

Questioning a girl’s character just because she has a lot of guy friends?

Because it’s always a girl’s duty to save, right?

Pressurizing youngsters to get married before they’re ready is not OKAY:

This question has the power to trigger an existential crisis, trust us on that:

Would you say the same thing to a man?

Body shaming needs to stop, it’s high time:

Some things are meant to be private. Are they not?

Otherwise a girl is declared unfit for marriage:

Because this is supposed to be a choice, not a compulsion:

This attitude of contempt for non vegetarians needs to be checked:

What would you like to add to the list?

PM Modi Speaks On Demonetisation. Says It Was Not A Jhatka And People Were Informed Before

It has been more than a year since the day Narendra Modi announced demonetisation but the pain is still fresh. Even today when people remind the day, long queues in front of ATMs and Banks, the scenes of roaming around for change and great unease pop up in front of the eyes.

Even though the things have settled down to a great extent now, people haven’t forgotten the nightmare like experience.

PM Narendra Modi spoke up about the demonetisation issue recently during his first interview of the new year. Speaking about the same he denied that demonetisation was a “Jhatka” and said that people were informed prior to it.

Modi said that he had informed the people 1 year before to deposit their black money along with penalty and they will be helped. However, people didn’t take it seriously and thought that Modi too would behave like others so very few came forward voluntarily.

Well, we’ve finally heard something from PM regarding this. What’s your take on the answer of Modi?
