The new year began with terrible news when we found out about Kader Khan’s passing. The legendary comedy hero and scriptwriter left us with a gaping hollow in our hearts.
He had shifted to Canada with his family after strife within the industry and health issues. Recently, his health had deteriorated and he was put on a BiPAP ventilator as well.
Although Kader Khan had fallen out with Bollywood biggies like Amitabh Bachchan, he was still close to Govinda with whom he has acted in close to 41 films.
Some of their most popular films would include Saajan Chale Sasural, Dariyaan, Apmaan Ki Aag, Aankhein, Anari No.1, Rakhwale, Dulhe Raja and many more.
Govinda paid a heartfelt tribute to his on screen father.
He wrote, “RIP Kader Khan Saab.
He was not just my “ustaad” but a father figure to me, his midas touch and his aura made every actor he worked with a superstar. The entire film industry and my family deeply mourns this loss and we cannot express the sorrow in words. #ripkaderkhansaab
”

After 2018,Bollywood film industry is stuck in a dilemma.This year showed that content driven films are a hit among the masses and critics alike,rather than films which are carrying big names and banners.
A film as an independent work of art is respected and encouraged by all,but simply doing films for the sake of showcasing the brand value of the names it is associated with,should not be the case.
This year the Khans of Bollywood industry failed to please the audience with their choice of films and moreover scripts,which made it very prominent that content is oven overshadowed.
Ranveer Singh among all did exceptionally good this year.In the personal front he got married to Deepika Padukone and in his professional front he roared in with Padmaavat and ended with Simmba.
Despite the controversial release Padmaavat became a sure hit and Simmba is going too strong now also!It is in the hundred crore club too.It made 120 crore in just five days,whereas Zero made only 80 crore in the first week.

Gau Mata ki raksha, right? That seems to be the only agenda on Yogi Adityanath’s mind these days. The CM has now cleared a cow welfare cess which can be used to protect stray cows.
In fact, the proposal also suggests that cow sheds or gau shalas will be built in different areas of the state where the cows will be given shelter and taken care of.

Bollywood gave hits,sleeper hits and even blockbusters in 2018.Films with unconventional plot and story lines were applauded and films even under big banners failed to do well enough.
2018 was not a year of sequels though,with films like Race 3,Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi and Namaste England tanking at the box office along with not so good reviews from the critics,expectations were not fulfilled.

The Bhatt camp is back this year with a bang. Mahesh Bhatt will be directing his two daughter,Pooja and Alia Bhatt
along with Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur,for a sequel of this 1991 film of the same name.
2.Student of the year 2(10th May)
Punit Malhotra will be directing two newcomers,Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday in this sequel.Tiger Shroff will also be their to support the film along with the new girls.
3.ABCD 3(8th November)
Remo D’Souza is all set to welcome the third film of this franchise along with Varun Dhawan and of course Prabhudeva.This dance musical film has already set bars high.
4.Total Dhamaal(21st February)
This series is all set to release again,this time with Ajay Devgan,Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit joining Riteish Deshmukh,Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey.So you can expect a lot more this time.
5.Housefull 4 (Diwali 2019)
This famous comedy franchise is all set to release this Diwali.With an assembled cast of Bobby Deol,Reteish Deshmukh,akshay Kumar and many more,it is expected to open big.
