“This Man Made A Fauji Out Of A Boy” SRK Remembers His Debut Director Colonel Raj Kapoor
The man who introduced us to the Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan with the television show ‘Fauji’. Colonel Raj Kapoor who fought 3 wars and was an actor. He passed away at a hospital here at the age of 87.
Cl. Raj Kapoor retired from the Indian army after he became a follower of Osho and he moved to Mumbai to work in the film and television Industry. He acted in many films and ad commercials and even produced many serials. A few years ago he released his novel ” When Shiva Smiles”. Raj Kapoor gave one of the biggest gifts to the industry by introducing Shah Rukh Khan.
Raj Kapoor’s daughter Ritambhara told to IANS ” My father passed away on Wednesday night due to age-related issue”.
Ritambhara one among his three daughters told over the phone “My father died at 10.10 p.m. yesterday. He was in a hospital for some time, but his death was very sudden. He was otherwise in good health. He went away quite peacefully.”
Shah Rukh Khan recalls his Fauji director for making him a fauji out of a boy and posted a heartfelt tweet on his Fauji director :
