Avengers: Endgame Crosses 200 Crores In Just Five Days, Check Tuesday Figures

Hollywood film Avengers: Endgame was one of the most awaited and highly anticipated movies of the year and super excited fans left no stone unturned to make it the year’s biggest success. The film which opened to packed theatres on 26th April had a tremendous first Tuesday with a collection of ₹27-28 crore nett.

Though the 22nd film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe witnessed a slight drop of around 10% on Tuesday, its box office figures are still higher than any Hindi film on a non-holiday. Now it is only behind the Hindi collection of Baahubali: The Conclusion, which was ₹30 crores nett.

Superheroes based fantasy film Avengers: Endgame has ₹217 crore net in its account till now and according to experts it will manage to close at around ₹260-265 crore nett after its first week. The film expects to beat the record of the first Bollywood blockbuster of 2019 Uri: The Surgical Strike which has total ₹244 crores nett in its account, in just a week.

The prequel of Endgame Avengers: Infinity War collected ₹228 crores nett and ₹290 crores gross and Avengers Endgame will beat both the numbers in just a week.

The tickets of Endgame were made available by the online ticket booking site BookMyShow one week before it was released and it created a history of selling about 18 tickets per second and became the fastest one million tickets selling movie in 24 hours.

The story revolves around ACP Singh a renowned police officer who was working on a case of serial killers. After months of hustle to arrest the criminals, ACP Singh accomplished his mission.

His beautiful daughter and wife welcomed him home with dinner and her little daughter recited a nursery rhyme ‘Maachli Jal Ki Raani’ which she learnt in school. ACP was sleep deprived for a few days as the case was traumatizing for him.

The climax of the movie is going to blow your mind and will leave you astonished. Remember one thing while watching the movie expect the unexpected.

Twitter Can’t Stop Trolling Indian Army For Claiming To Have Seen Yeti’s Footprints

There are many things in this world which are beyond our understanding because we don’t have complete information about them and Yeti is one of them.

Yeti is said to be a creature which is like an ape, is taller than an average human and is featured mostly in the folklores. There are instances when people have claimed to have sighted Yeti but there is no proof to certify that Yeti does exist. Bollywood has already explored this concept with the movie “Ajooba Kudrat Ka” which got released in 1991.

However, the Indian Army surprised everyone when they claimed that their mountaineering expedition team noticed some footprints which seem to be of the snowman Yeti.

For some time, Twitter users were at loss of words but then they gathered themselves and started expressing opinions. While some talked about the times when they read about Yeti in Tintin comics, others questioned as to why there is only one footprint and whether Yeti was one-legged? Marvel Studios was bankrupt back in the ’90s. In the year 1998, the company had just started fresh after their bankruptcy and started signing movie deals and were desperately looking for cash.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Marvel Entertainment made an offer to Sony during the negotiation of Original Spiderman as the company was in desperate need of money. Marvel head then Ike Perlmutter made an offer to Sony Pictures the rights to the cinematic characters such as Thor, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Captain America, Iron Man and more. Marvel was ready to give the rights of the whole stable of superheroes at just $25 million.

Sony rejected the offer and further claimed: “nobody gives a shit about any of the other Marvel characters except Spider-Man.” Marvel ended up selling the rights to Sony Pictures at $10 million.

These characters are the golden ticket of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it is one of the most profitable series of MCU movies and with every release they’re earning more money.

In the year 2002, the term superheroes were a household name as every kid was in love with Spider-Man. Ceo of Marvel then Perlmutter armed with a list of characters which was underrated and most people never heard off.

As Spider-Man ushered in the new era of films and Marvel took advantage of it and the movie Iron Man was decided to be made starring Robert Downey Jr.

The recent release of MCU Avengers: Endgame has created history and has done a humongous business around the globe. Sony could have been part of the successful Marvel Cinematic Universe but alas they thought Spiderman would be the only successful venture of Marvel.

Recently, when Katrina was asked about the clash as she is playing the female lead in “Sooryanvanshi”, she said she doesn’t think that Salman would let both the movies clash as he loves Akshay and Rohit and is also very supportive of her.

It means that Salman will be choosing a new date for his upcoming movie “Inshallah” which is being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and stars Alia Bhatt in the female lead.

Salman Khan is pretty busy nowadays as he has some big projects lined up. Presently, he is busy with the shooting of “Dabangg 3” which is being directed by Prabhudeva and Sonakshi Sinha will once again play the female lead in the movie.

Indian Man who Survived Two Of The Biggest Attacks Said It Seemed To Be A Movie

On 21 April 2019 in Sri Lanka three luxury hotels in the commercial capital Colombia were targeted in a series of coordinated terrorist suicide bombing. An Indian couple based in Dubai barely escaped the deadly terror attack blast at Colombos Cinnamon Grand hotel which was among one of the eight targets of the April 21 serial bombings.

Mr Abhinav Chari and his wife, Mrs Navroop K. Chari were in Sri Lanka for a business trip and were residing at the Cinnamon Grand. According to reports, a bomb exploded while the Easter Sunday breakfast buffet was being served.

Abhinav told the Gulf News, only twice he travelled out of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and both the times, he witnessed horrific hate crimes that were obligatory religious terrorism.

In the year 2008 when terrorists carried out a series of 12 coordinated shooting and bombing attacks in Mumbai leaving thousands injured or dead. Abhinav was in Mumbai for studying medicine and it was a horrible five-six days tribulation for him.

Speaking of the Sri Lanka trauma, Abhinav said to a leading daily: On Easter Sunday, we went to the church. In the middle of the service, the priest requested people to vacate the church premises. As soon as they left the church he got into a taxi to go get some breakfast because that is what normally done after the Easter mass. They started noticing chaos on the roads and thought it was better to go back to the hotel.

After reaching the hotel we saw everyone out on the lawn. We thought it was just some sort of security protocol and it was too early to believe anything on the news or social media, and still, they couldn’t register the traumatized incident.

Navroop could not believe what was happening in front of them. It seemed like a movie to him.

The deadly bombings that targeted churches and hotels in Colombo, claimed the lives of 253 people and injured over 500 others. It was the deadliest attacks in Sri Lanka after the civil war. Navroop and his wife had a great fortune to have escaped and survived two of the deadliest terrorist attack in the world.
