PM Narendra Modi Tags Famous Personalities In Tweet, Urges Them To Vote In 2019 Elections.
With the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections due in April 2019, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken one of the most significant lead, as a prominent leader of the country. In a blog post, PM Modi urged every citizen of India, to come out and assert one’s right to vote.
In other words he appealed every individual to realize that they should voice their opinion, by casting their vote and choosing their choice of government representative. This year it is expected that record will be created because of the highest turnout in India’s polls history.
PM Modi made his appeal very clear through his blog post, titled ‘Four Requests For Democracy’. He said ‘Voting is among our prime duties… Would you want a situation where something happens in the country that you disapprove of and you are forced to think – because I did not go vote that day, this unfortunate situation has arisen and the nation is suffering.’
He even tagged various prominent influencers from various fields and social institutions, urging them to encourage every other person to come out and vote. Interestingly, he even tagged his political opponents like TMC leader Mamata Banerjee, Congress president Rahul Gandhi, BSP supremo Mayawati, NCP chief Sharad Pawar and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, to name a few among the rest.
Here are some of his tweets.
